Water Sterile Filter Installation Guide

General Installation Information

The installation of Pall water sterilization filters can be done without a plumber after receiving instructions/advice.
In principle, the installation of end-point Legionella filters at the sink and in the shower is the same.
The filter is attached using quick couplings (adapters) that do not require additional installation work or interruption of water supply.
A multilingual user manual is included with each filter.

The Installation:

Wash or disinfect your hands.
Unscrew your existing showerhead from the shower hose.
Screw the quick coupling onto the thread of the shower hose. Ensure that the seal is in the correct position.
Note: The included seal is a spare seal between the shower hose and the quick coupling
Open the bag with the water sterilization filter on the connector side.
Slide the filter inlet of the water sterilization filter into the adapter outlet of the quick coupling. You should hear a click.
Remove the bag from the showerhead.
Perform a brief functional test and check if the connections are tight.
Done! - The Pall Kleenpak water sterilization filter can be used for a period of up to 31 days.

Filter Replacement:

Wash or disinfect your hands.
To remove the old filter from the quick coupling, press the colored release button on the quick coupling.
The filter can be removed from the quick coupling by gently pulling it out.
Set aside the old filter.
Take the clear plastic bag with the new water sterilization filter out of the packaging.
Open the bag on the connector side.
Attach the new filter to the quick coupling as you did during the initial installation, and then remove the bag.
Perform a brief functional test and check if the connections are tight.
Done! - The Pall Kleenpak water sterilization filter can be used for a period of up to 31 days.
The old filter can be disposed of in regular household waste.

Note:
The quick coupling remains on the shower hose during filter replacement and does not need to be replaced.

Our Tip:
Once Legionella contamination is eliminated, and the filters are no longer needed, keep the quick coupling. This can be useful in case of future Legionella issues or use water sterilization filters as a precaution in your next vacation.
